Diagonal Pixels = √(Width² + Height²)
PPI = Diagonal Pixels / Screen Size (inches)

PPI benchmarks by use:
- Basic office work: 90–110 PPI is fine
- General use: 110–140 PPI — good clarity
- Design/photo work: 140–200 PPI — sharp detail
- Retina-quality: 200+ PPI — pixels invisible at normal distance
Retina distance: The distance at which individual pixels become invisible to the human eye.

- 27" 1080p: 82 PPI (not great)
- 27" 1440p: 109 PPI (good)
- 27" 4K: 163 PPI (excellent)
