Professional movers — typical US rates (2024):
Local moves (under 50 miles):
- Hourly rate: $80–$150/hour for 2-person crew
- 1-bedroom: 3–5 hours → $240–$750
- 3-bedroom: 7–10 hours → $560–$1,500
- Add truck fee: $30–$100 flat
Long-distance moves (50+ miles):
- Priced by weight and distance
- 1-bedroom (~2,000–3,000 lbs): $800–$2,500
- 3-bedroom (~7,000–10,000 lbs): $3,000–$8,000+
- Cross-country (2,000+ miles): add 50–80% to above
