Lining Fabric Needed
Lining fabric is typically the same amount as your outer fabric, minus collars, cuffs, and facings.
Rules of thumb:
- Jacket/Blazer: Same as outer fabric minus ~0.5 yard (0.5 m)
- Full skirt: Same as outer fabric
- Dress: Same as outer fabric minus ~0.5 yard (0.5 m) for facings
- Coat: Same as outer fabric plus 0.25 yard (0.25 m) for ease
