Standard gutter sizes:

Downspout rules:
- One downspout per 600 sq ft of roof area (minimum)
- One downspout per 40 linear feet of gutter
- Place downspouts at ends and corners
- Standard downspout: 2×3 inches or 3×4 inches
Gutter slope: Gutters should slope 1/4 inch per 10 feet toward the downspout for proper drainage.
