Twitch Subscriber Earnings Calculator

Estimate your monthly Twitch revenue from subscribers.
Calculate earnings based on your sub count, tier mix, and Twitch revenue split.

Monthly Subscriber Revenue

Twitch subscriber revenue depends on your sub count, tier mix, and the revenue split you have with Twitch.

Subscription tiers:

  • Tier 1 Sub — $4.99/month from the viewer
  • Tier 2 Sub — $9.99/month from the viewer
  • Tier 3 Sub — $24.99/month from the viewer

Revenue split (streamer’s cut):

  • Standard Affiliate/Partner: 50% of the sub price
  • Premium Partner (“70/30” deal): 70% of the sub price (only available to top-tier partners, typically 1,000+ avg viewers)
  • Sub gifting, Twitch Prime/Amazon subs: Twitch keeps a larger cut — typically you receive around $2.50 per Prime sub

What you actually earn per sub (standard 50/50):

  • Tier 1: ~$2.50
  • Tier 2: ~$5.00
  • Tier 3: ~$12.50

What you actually earn per sub (70/30 deal):

  • Tier 1: ~$3.49
  • Tier 2: ~$6.99
  • Tier 3: ~$17.49

Other income streams not included here:

  • Bits — $0.01 per bit cheered
  • Donations — direct Streamlabs/PayPal
  • Ad revenue — varies greatly by category and viewer count (roughly $0.50–$3.00 CPM)
  • Sponsorships — highly variable

Subscriber churn to keep in mind: Most streamers see 10–30% monthly churn on their subscriber base. A sub count of 1,000 today might be 700–900 next month without new growth. Consistent content and community engagement are the main drivers of sub retention.

Sub counts fluctuate with charity events, subathons, and seasonal spikes. This calculator gives you a realistic monthly baseline to budget from.

Important note: These are pre-tax estimates. Twitch sends a 1099 form to US creators at year-end. Self-employment tax (15.3%) and income tax both apply to your earnings.
