Archery Score Calculator
Calculate archery score, arrows per end, and average per arrow from round type and zone hits.
Supports WA 18m, WA 25m, 720 round, NFAA field, and 3D rounds.
Archery scoring varies by discipline — recurve, compound, barebow, and traditional all use slightly different target formats and scoring rings. This calculator covers the most widely used systems in competitive archery.
Standard WA (World Archery) 10-ring target scoring:

| 9 | 9 | Yellow |
| 8 | 8 | Red |
| 7 | 7 | Red |
| 6 | 6 | Blue |
| 5 | 5 | Blue |
| 4 | 4 | Black |
| 3 | 3 | Black |
| 2 | 2 | White |
| 1 | 1 | White |
| Miss | 0 | — |
Score calculation:
Total Score = Sum of all arrow point values
Average per Arrow = Total Score ÷ Total Arrows
Maximum Possible Score = Arrows × 10
Scoring Percentage = Total Score ÷ Maximum Possible Score × 100
Worked example — WA 18m indoor round (60 arrows): An archer shoots: 10, 10, 9, 9, 8, X per end (×10 ends)
- Per end: 10+10+9+9+8+10 = 56 points
- Total: 56 × 10 = 560 points out of 600 maximum
- Average per arrow: 560 ÷ 60 = 9.33
- Percentage: 560 ÷ 600 = 93.3%
NFAA Field Archery scoring: Field archery uses a 5-zone target at varying distances. A center hit scores 5, with outer zones scoring 4, 3. Each round consists of 28 targets × 3 arrows = 84 arrows, maximum score 420.
Classification levels (WA recurve outdoor, 70m):
